Words from the Librarian

We've several new developments this term. First of all there are now Return Points for self-service return of books. We hope this will speed up the service. Please let us know how you get on with using these.

Also this term the NHS Library from York Hospital has relocated to the Learning Centre. It is available for all staff and students to use, including borrowing on existing YSJ library (staff or student) cards. All NHS books and periodicals appear in the catalogue and can be borrowed, placed on hold etc in the normal way. Finally, the other big change is that we revamped how we deliver IT help.

There will now be IT staff on the 1st Floor Inofrmation and Help Desk during core hours.Hope you find these changes helpful - but we need your feedback so let us know.

New library webpages

We have just launched the new-look library web pages. Please take a look around, and contact us on libraryqueries@yorksj.ac.uk if you have any problems. You can still access the old library web pages at http://www.yorksj.ac.uk/library/learningcent/index2.htm if you need to. We will announce here when we will be removing access to those pages.
