RESOLVED: Problems with off campus access for e-books and e-journals

RESOLVED: As of 10.00, 30 July 2010, the issues with off-campus access have been resolved. If you continue to experience difficulty with access to electronic resources, please contact libraryqueries@yorksj.ac.uk or telephone the information desk on (01904) 876698 during our opening hours. Please be prepared to tell us which resource you are trying to access and the error message you are receiving.

Previous information:

Eduserv have reported that there is an issue currently affecting all Athens services. This will mean that you may find it difficult to access electronic resources when not at the University. At present we do not know when this problem will be resolved, but will let you know as soon as we hear anything.

In the meantime, please keep trying the electronic resources at regular intervals. We apologise for any inconvenience.

UPDATE 30 July 2010, 09.00: Eduserv report that the service is now intermittently available. You can check the current status of the Athens services at http://status.openathens.net/. If the service is showing as available and you are still unable to access electronic resources, please contact libraryqueries@yorksj.ac.uk or telephone the information desk on (01904) 876698 during our opening hours. Please be prepared to tell us which resource you are trying to access and the error message you are receiving.
