If you are planning to use the inter-library loan service for your dissertation, you may want to consider how the Christmas Closure dates affect your study plans. Due to the time it takes for us to request and receive books through inter-library loans, we will not be processing any other inter-library loan book requests after 13 DECEMBER. This will hopefully allow students to collect any books they have requested before Christmas. We want to avoid having books sat in the library over the holidays and ensure that students and staff have the most time possible with items borrowed from other libraries.
Any inter-library loan book requests received after the 13 December will be processed again starting on the 2 January. Journal requests we will continue to process as normal. Most journal articles we can receive as photocopies that do not need to be returned.
